Begin by installing the Google Apps Device Policy app on your device.

For Android - Click Install on the Google Play Store page and it will push to your phone or find it in the Play Store on your device

For iOS - Open the App Store and search for Google Device Policy
Android Instructions:
- Tap the install notification or Google Apps Device Policy
to open the app.
- If you haven’t already signed in to your G Suite account on your device, tap Add Account and complete these steps:
- Enter your username and password.
- If you're a 2-Step Verification user, you might need to enter an App password instead of your normal G Suite password.
- Accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- If you're prompted to sync your account, tap Next.
- Tap Next to register your device with the server.
- Tap Activate to set the Google Apps Device Policy app as your device administrator.
- Tap Enforce to confirm enforcement.
- If you need to change settings, such as choosing a PIN for your device, you'll be notified to make these changes on the Policies screen before your device is activated.
After you set up the Google Apps Device Policy app, all your G Suite data (mail, calendar, contacts, and so on) will start syncing to the device.
iOS Instructions:
- Tap Google Device Policy

- Select the G Suite account you want to use with the app. If you haven’t already signed into your G Suite account on your device, tap Add Account and do the following
- Enter your username and password.
- If you're a 2-Step Verification user, enter a verification code when prompted.
- Accept the Terms of Service.
- If prompted to install a security profile to keep your data safe, follow these steps:
- Tap Download
Install.
- If prompted, enter your device password and tap Install.
- Tap Install to allow your administrator to remotely manage your device.
- Tap Trust to enroll your device in remote management.
- Tap Done.
- Tap Download
It can take a few minutes for your device to synchronize with the server. If your administrator needs to approve your device before it can sync, you’ll see a note on the Status screen that your device is awaiting approval. After an administrator approves your device, you can install managed apps.
If you are not already signed into your account, go to your phone’s settings -> Accounts and Sync -> Add account -> Google -> Follow the steps and enter your work email credentials, accepting any prompts as necessary. *Steps may vary depending on your device model.
