1. Log into your Google Account in a Chrome window
2. On any of the Google Apps pages (like Gmail, Google Calendar, Drive, etc.) find and click your company logo beside your icon in the top-right
3. Click Manage your Google account
4. On the left side of the screen click Security
5. Find and click 2-step Verification
6. Click Get Started
7. You may need to re-enter your password
8. Select method you want to use for 2-step verification
- If you have a mobile device connected to this account, use it to get a prompt in your Gmail app, or;
- If you can download the Google Authenticator app, use it to get verification codes, or;
- If you can't do either of those, use your cell phone number to get verification codes texted to you
9. Follow the prompts to set up your verification. If you choose to use backup verification codes, copy them to somewhere safe (secure note in LastPass recommended).
10. Once you have received your codes click Turn On
