You can create rules for your voicemails to turn on a specific recording when you are out of the office and automatically revert back to standard when the time is up.
To Set an Advance Rule:
- Log into RingCentral through the web
- Select Settings
- Select Call Handling & Forwarding
- Choose Custom Rule
- Click +Add Rule
- Enter a title for your rule ie: Vacation May 2018
- Select Next
- Check Date and/or Time
- Select Specific Date Range
- Enter the Dates
- Please be aware of the time
- Select Next
- Choose the Option
- Forward Call will go to another employee
- Choose Call Handling and Forwarding and select the employee to forward
- Take Message Only will prompt your voicemail to be heard
- Record a new voicemail message
- Forward Call will go to another employee
- Select Save
★ Please note: This will not override any current settings you have. It will only take effect during the dates you selected in Step 9
