Option 1 from the desk phone for your own extension:
- Press the message button to the left of the keypad to access your voicemail messages
- Note that if you are changing the settings for a different extension, dial that extension after pressing
- Enter your voicemail PIN, then press #
- Press 2 for Account Administration
- Press 2 to Record Greetings
- Press 2 for Voicemail Greeting (NOT 1 for Introductory Greeting)
- The Introductory Greeting is played on direct calls before connecting to your extension.
Option 2 from the desk phone for another extension or non-RingCentral phone:
- Dial the extension you wish to access, then press *
- If calling from a non-RingCentral phone, call the main company number first
- Enter the PIN for that extension, the #
- Then follow the same instructions from Step 3 in Option 1
Option 3 from your RingCentral Account in the browser:
- Log in to RingCentral through the web (www.service.ringcentral.com)
- Enter your email address and password
- Select Settings
- Select Notifications on the left side menu
- Select Messages & Notifications
- located in the columns on the left-hand side of the page
- Under Voicemail Greeting, Select Edit
- Under Set Greeting, Select Custom
- More options will appear below. Select the red dot to re-record a new message
- Select Phone
- Enter your phone number in the “Call Me at” box
- Select Call Now to send the prompt to the number you have specified
- RingCentral will call this number and provide instructions to record a message.
- After the phone call, your message will be saved. You can listen to it by pressing the Play Button
- Select Done
- You will be directed back to the Messages & Notifications page
- Select Save
